James Howard is a trusted real estate professional serving the entire Triangle, especially  Durham, Chapel Hill, and Raleigh. With a career rooted in honesty, fairness, and transparency, James brings a sophisticated blend of marketing expertise, data-driven insight, and strategic negotiation to every transaction.

A lifelong student of real estate, James entered the industry at 17 and went on to earn his B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before securing his North Carolina Real Estate license in 1999. His 18-year career in educational assessment—spanning technical writing, data management, project leadership, and proposal development—sharpened his analytical and communication skills, all of which now benefit his clients.

Since becoming a full-time broker in 2017, James has guided sellers and buyers at every stage, from first-time homeowners to clients upsizing, downsizing, or seeking luxury properties. He is also a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI), a distinction reflecting advanced professionalism and market knowledge.
